PRECISION XZ SMOOTHER
Advanced CNC Profile Smoothing & Optimisation Software for Alloy Wheel Repair
Precision-XZ Smoother
More control. Smoother profiles. Better finishes. Greater productivity.
Precision-XZ Smoother is advanced CNC lathe software developed specifically for professional alloy wheel repair. Originally developed in 2015 for Precision Wheel Equipment CNC lathes, the software has been continuously refined through more than a decade of development and real-world use. Precision-XZ Smoother is now available for other CNC machine systems, including Crystal and Syntec.
Targeted Damage Removal
Remove damage from specific areas of a wheel using the integrated Profile Edit function. Operators can select and modify individual sections of a profile, allowing precise corrections without unnecessarily machining unaffected areas.
Ultra-Smooth Surface Finish
Precision-XZ Smoother uses a unique interpolation algorithm to generate multiple lines of G-code, creating smoother cutting movements and a cleaner, more consistent machined finish.
Interactive Profile Editing
Profile plot lines can be directly manipulated within the software, giving operators precise control over the finished wheel profile. This makes it easier to correct complex shapes, fine-tune individual sections and achieve the desired finished profile.
Automatic Lead-In & Lead-Out
The software automatically calculates and applies the required lead-in and lead-out extensions. This helps produce controlled machining movements and smoother transitions while reducing the risk of sharp edges or abrupt changes to the profile.
Intuitive Operator Interface
A straightforward interface provides quick access to the essential profile-editing and machining functions. The result is a simple, efficient workflow with less unnecessary complexity.
Increased Productivity
Optimised profile smoothing and cutting paths can help reduce machining time while producing a cleaner and more consistent finished surface.
